In-Person CE Intensives
How is my attendance recorded?
Pick up your pre-printed name badge at the GVMA check-in desk when you arrive. Picking up your badge is your official check-in and marks you as attended in our records.
What if I don't pick up my badge?
Registrants who do not collect their badge on-site are not marked as attended and will not receive a CE certificate.
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificates are issued to confirmed attendees within 3–5 business days after the event.
Zoom / Virtual CE Events
How is my attendance recorded?
Attendance is verified through Zoom's participant report. To be marked as attended, you must join using the same name and email address used to register and remain logged in for the required minimum duration of the session (typically the full session, unless otherwise stated).
Are there additional attendance checks?
Yes. For sessions like LEAP CE webinars, GVMA may use polls, check-in prompts, or attendance codes shared during the session to confirm active participation. Missing these prompts may affect certificate eligibility.
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificates are issued to registrants who met the participation requirements within 3 business days after the session.
VetSouth & Emerald Coast Veterinary Conferences
How is my attendance recorded?
Check in at the registration desk when you arrive and collect your pre-printed name badge. Your badge must be worn throughout the event, as it may be scanned or visually verified at individual sessions to confirm CE attendance by track or session.
Do I need to check in for each session?
No. Picking up your badge counts as your check-in for the full conference.
When will I receive my certificate?
Your CE certificate is emailed within 3–5 business days after the conference concludes.
General CE Certificate Questions
How and when are certificates delivered?
Certificates are emailed to the address on file in your registration record, typically within 3–5 business days after the event.
I attended but didn't receive my certificate — what should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, submit a support ticket with the event name and your registration email so we can verify your attendance record.
Can I get a certificate if I forgot to check in or missed the attendance requirement?
Unfortunately, no. CE certificates are issued based on verified attendance only. We are unable to issue certificates retroactively for registrants who were not confirmed as attending.
Where should I keep my CE certificates?
We recommend saving all certificates in a dedicated folder (digital or physical) for license renewal and audit purposes, in accordance with State Board requirements. GVMA retains attendance records, but members are responsible for maintaining their own CE documentation.
